Arctic Water Emissions Manufactured (AWE) and churned Atlantic warmth (CAW) are major drivers warming the Arctic, melting Greenland’s glaciers and raising sea levels.

by Stephen M. Kasprzak (Abbreviated Version)

Introduction

“In a response to the deliberate decisions  of the Federal Government and the State of Maine to not include the subject of impacts of dams and freshwater flow regulation on the marine fisheries and the climate in environmental assessments, FOSL has invested in several projects to quantify these impacts. This latest project Abbreviated AWE by S.M. Kasprzak quantifies and analyzes temperature and precipitation data. This Study shows the need for scientific models discussing past and future climate change and the state of the fisheries to incorporate all relevant data. The charts and graphs show sudden and rapid increases in precipitation and temperatures associated with tipping points.  The tipping points are associated when one or more subarctic or Arctic mega dam was commissioned. The full version of AWE will be available later this summer.” – Roger Wheeler
